Lucy's 1st Haircut

 

My precious 1 year old got her first hair cut!  She was soooo good!  She must like the spa just like her mommy does:)

Riley Pediatric Family Advisor

Last night I had the honor of attending the Riley Pediatric Family Advisor meeting.  I will be attending these once a month.   I love being able to give back my time for a hospital that did so much for my Lucy. Not to mention the amazing doctors and nurses! The CEO of Riley was at the meeting so it is so great to see that all of our ideas/goals for the 2013 year will be taken seriously.

Happy Valentine's Day!

eek...we are 30!

Bill and I turned 30 last week.  My birthday was 2/5 and Bill's was 2/10.  We always thought it was cool we are only 5 days a part.  Since we have been together since Sophomore year of high school we have shared many fun birthdays together. However, 30 just seems so old...where does time go?  Nonetheless, we had a great weekend celebrating!  My aunt and cousins opened an AMAZING restaurant in downtown Louisville called Decca.  We got a babysitter and headed down to KY with my sister and her husband.  This was the first time leaving the kids overnight with someone besides grandparents, and they did great.  We had a blast with my cousins and family.  It made turning 30 not so bad:) 

 

We have a walker!

Lucy has been walking for awhile now if she holds onto something.  However, yesterday, on my 30th birthday she was off!  It is adorable watching her walk.  Go Lucy, go!
